I have settled alongside the Naka River. This is where my journey to Japan has found home and where I have lived for more than 20 years as a ceramic artist.
Following this river in front of my home upstream leads to ArtBiotop. The further up the river, the clearer it becomes. At the top it feels pure, near to the source. The river connects my home to Nasu, Art Biotop. This time here I can feel closer to my own creative source, immersed within nature & the creative process which inspires me to manifest new sculptural visions.
Before coming to Japan I studied glassblowing. It is an old passion of mine to combine the elements of glass, ceramic, and other elements in mixed-media sculpture. Here I will explore these relations.
We do not know everything. There is a beauty within the unknown. The beauty of our mystery, the river of dreams..
